Sébastien Migné has officially resigned as the head coach of the Haiti national football team. His departure has prompted the Haitian Football Federation to initiate a search for a replacement coach.

Details: Romain Molina reports that Migné expressed little interest in continuing his role, leading to a breakdown in the relationship between him and the federation’s management as early as last autumn. At that time, Haiti’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup were in jeopardy, and Migné faced openly toxic behavior from federation executives. These leaders did not conceal their desire to find a successor swiftly.

Migné’s refusal to accept the untenable situation led him to explore other career options. As of now, several projects have reportedly shown interest in hiring the French manager, suggesting he may not remain unemployed for long.
