The Rossoneri are reportedly nearing an agreement to appoint a prominent Spanish coach as their new head coach.
Milan is preparing to make a significant change within their management team. According to Gianluca Di Marzio on his social media platform X, the club’s management has pinpointed a successor for the departing Massimiliano Allegri.
Current discussions indicate that Milan is in talks with 43-year-old Spanish coach Andoni Iraola, who is expected to leave Bournemouth shortly. The negotiations are still at an initial phase, with Milan’s board awaiting Iraola’s response to chart their next actions.
Allegri was dismissed following a disappointing season, during which the Rossoneri failed to qualify for the upcoming Champions League. Conversely, Iraola found success at Bournemouth, leading the club to their first-ever European competition, although he has declined to extend his contract with the team.
