Lille OSC has announced the termination of its contract with head coach Bruno Genesio, ending their collaboration after the 2025-2026 season.
The decision was made public today via the official social media channels of the French club, stating that contract negotiations had broken down, prompting Genesio to step down from his position.
Since taking charge in 2024, Genesio led Lille in 99 matches, achieving a record of 50 wins, 19 draws, and 30 losses. Under his guidance, Lille secured a third-place finish in Ligue 1 this season, earning a spot in the Champions League despite a loss to Auxerre in the final match of the campaign.
