Real Madrid has turned its attention to the Italian transfer market as part of efforts to reinforce the right side of their defense. The club is reportedly interested in Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries, who has become a key target for manager José Mourinho.

Sources indicate that Real Madrid has initiated negotiations with the agents of the 30-year-old Dutch international. Mourinho has expressed a strong preference for Dumfries due to his athleticism, work rate, and attacking capabilities, viewing him as an ideal addition to his tactical framework.

Financially, the move appears favorable for Madrid, as Dumfries holds a fixed release clause of €25 million in his contract with Inter Milan. This season, the defender has made 28 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and providing two assists, with his market value also set at €25 million according to Transfermarkt.
