FIFA has appointed Omar Al Ali to officiate the Group G match during the ongoing World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This match marks Egypt’s second appearance in the tournament.
The Pharaohs are scheduled to face New Zealand on June 22 in Vancouver. As the match date approaches, FIFA has confirmed the officiating team for the encounter.
The Emirati referee, Omar Al Ali, will lead the officiating team, with his compatriot Mohamed Alhammadi serving as the first assistant referee. Additionally, Qatari referee Taleb Al Marri will take on the role of second assistant referee. Kevin Ortega and Michael Orue are appointed as the fourth and fifth officials, respectively.
