Real Madrid, now under the management of new head coach José Mourinho, is set on enhancing its defensive lineup during the summer transfer window, specifically targeting players from Arsenal in London.

Details: As reported by TEAMtalk and cited by Spanish outlet El Debate, Arsenal defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapié are reportedly in frequent discussions with their agents regarding a potential transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu. Both defenders are versatile, capable of playing centrally or on the left side.

Currently competing for playing time in London, Calafiori and Hincapié are eager to represent Real Madrid, with their combined transfer value estimated to be between €50–60 million.

Despite this, Mourinho’s primary target remains Joško Gvardiol, a star defender from Manchester City, also valued at approximately €60 million. The Real Madrid hierarchy is optimistic about attracting Gvardiol to Madrid for Mourinho’s ambitious plans. However, should this deal not materialize, the club is prepared to turn its attention to the Arsenal defenders.
