Napoli appears poised to part ways with Maurizio Sarri as speculation surrounding his future intensifies.
Details: Nicolo Schira reported on social media platform X that Atalanta’s management has pinpointed the 67-year-old Sarri as the primary candidate for their managerial position, should current coach Raffaele Palladino face dismissal.
Reports indicate a strained relationship between Sarri and the Lazio board, possibly resulting in his departure at the end of the current season. Sarri took the reins at Lazio in the summer of 2025, managing 41 matches, which resulted in 16 wins, 13 draws, and 12 losses. The dissatisfaction among Lazio’s management is palpable, as the team has missed all opportunities for European competition qualification next season.
Although Sarri is contracted with Lazio until the summer of 2027, there are indications that he may leave his role sooner than anticipated.
