FC Porto has officially distanced itself from transfer rumors linking them to Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski. The club’s president, Andre Villas-Boas, addressed recent media speculation regarding the possibility of signing the 37-year-old forward this summer.

Despite Lewandowski’s impending status as a free agent, Villas-Boas stated that Porto cannot accommodate the financial demands associated with signing the Polish star. He remarked,

“As you can imagine, even considering Lewandowski is financially impossible for us,” Villas-Boas stated.
