Bayern Munich is reportedly targeting Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, signaling a strong intent to bolster their attacking lineup with a significant financial proposition. According to CentreGoals, as cited by German insider Christian Falk, Bayern’s management is ready to meet the £34.5 million (€40 million) transfer fee set by the Red Devils for the 28-year-old academy graduate, aiming for a swift conclusion to the deal.

Despite both clubs being amenable to the transaction, significant obstacles remain. The primary concern revolves around Rashford’s personal wage demands, which pose a potential disruption to Bayern’s established salary structure. The management in Munich views the English forward as an ideal addition to their squad.

This season, Rashford has made 49 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists. Transfermarkt assesses his value at €40 million.
