Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise has been awarded the title of best footballer of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. The honor was presented to the 24-year-old French midfielder during the championship trophy ceremony at Munich’s Allianz Arena.
The award was handed to Olise by Marc Lenz and Steffen Merkel, managing directors of the German Football League (DFL). The DFL commended Olise for his exceptional performances, emphasizing his significant influence on the team’s success throughout the season.

During the season, Olise recorded an impressive tally of 15 goals and 19 assists, becoming the first Bundesliga player since the 2019/20 season to achieve at least 15 goals and 15 assists in a single campaign. This marks another milestone for the winger, who was previously named Bundesliga Rookie of the Year last season.
