The England national team is gearing up for its second group stage match of the World Cup against Ghana, although the participation of Bukayo Saka remains uncertain. The Arsenal midfielder missed another training session in Kansas City as he continues to recover from an Achilles tendon issue.
While Saka’s status is in question, the rest of the squad trained together without any reported issues. England is set to travel to Boston on Monday for the match against Ghana, where it is expected that Saka will again start on the bench, similar to the previous game against Croatia.
In better news for the team, Declan Rice has reported that he has made a full recovery after previously leaving the pitch limping. The Arsenal midfielder is ready to take part in the upcoming match.
