Fiorentina has announced a significant change in its coaching staff as the club introduces a new head coach for the upcoming season.
Today, the announcement was made official via Fiorentina’s account on X, where the club confirmed the appointment of its new manager.

The new head coach is 48-year-old Fabio Grosso, an Italian national who has signed a contract extending until 2028. Grosso previously managed Sassuolo, leading the team through 81 matches that resulted in 42 wins, 12 draws, and 25 losses.
This change follows the dismissal of Paolo Vanoli, whose tenure ended after a disappointing season where Fiorentina finished 15th in Serie A. The team faced challenges, including a spell in the relegation zone, and only secured their position in the top division towards the end of the last campaign.
