Catalan club Barcelona is actively seeking a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is set to depart at the end of the current season.
Details: EL Nacional reports that one of the primary targets for Barcelona is Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane. Bayern’s head coach Hansi Flick is advocating for a new star striker, while players Lamine Yamal and Raphinha view Kane as the ideal candidate to fill Lewandowski’s role.
Barcelona’s management also believes that Harry Kane has the potential to sustain the position for an extended period, thereby continuing the legacy left by Lewandowski.
This season, Kane has participated in 50 matches for Bayern Munich across all competitions, registering 58 goals and seven assists. His current contract with the German club is valid until the summer of 2027.
