वेन रूनी का अनुमान: प्रीमियर लीग का खिताब जीतेगा आर्सेनल
वेन रूनी का मानना है कि प्रीमियर लीग जीतने की दौड़ में आर्सेनल सबसे आगे है। रूनी के अनुसार, मैनचेस्टर सिटी की तुलना में आर्सेनल का इस सीजन का प्रदर्शन और आगामी मुकाबलों का शेड्यूल उन्हें खिताब का प्रबल दावेदार बनाता है।
रूनी का कहना है कि पूरे सीजन के दौरान आर्सेनल की निरंतरता और उनके अनुकूल फिक्स्चर उन्हें ट्रॉफी के करीब ले जा सकते हैं। वेन रूनी ने कहा, “मुझे लगता है कि आर्सेनल प्रीमियर लीग जीतेगा। मैनचेस्टर सिटी द्वारा आर्सेनल को हराने के बाद भी मेरा यही मानना था। मुझे लगा था कि सिटी के मैदान पर जाकर खेलना और कप फाइनल में उनसे मिली हार आर्सेनल के लिए मानसिक दबाव हो सकता है। लेकिन उस हार के बाद भी अंक तालिका में बराबरी पर बने रहना और आर्सेनल के लिए फिक्स्चर का अधिक अनुकूल होना उन्हें बढ़त दिलाता है। मेरा मानना है कि वे अपने सभी मैच जीतेंगे, जबकि सिटी एक या दो मैचों में फिसल सकती है।”
उन्होंने आगे कहा, “मुझे लगता है कि आर्सेनल तीन से पांच अंकों के अंतर से खिताब जीत सकता है। आर्सेनल का खेल शानदार रहा है और वे लगभग पूरे सीजन लीग में शीर्ष पर बने हुए हैं। आर्सेनल के खेलने का तरीका हर किसी को अपनी ओर आकर्षित नहीं करता, लेकिन सिटी के लिए मैचों का व्यस्त शेड्यूल मुश्किल पैदा कर सकता है। आर्सेनल पूरे सीजन मजबूती से बने रहे हैं और मुझे लगता है कि यह साल उन्हीं का है।”
Wayne Rooney believes Arsenal are in pole position to win the Premier League, tipping them to finish ahead of Manchester City in the title race.
Rooney says Arsenal’s consistency throughout the season, combined with a more favourable run-in, could be decisive in their push for the trophy.
“I think Arsenal will win the Premier League. I felt this after Man City beat Arsenal as well. I felt it was maybe in Arsenal’s heads having to go to Man City and losing in the cup final to them. But I think still being there, level on points after that City defeat, and I think the fixtures are more favourable for Arsenal. I think they’ll win every game. And I could see City slipping up in one or two games.
“I could see Arsenal actually being quite comfortable, I think maybe three, five points. I just do. Listen, Arsenal have been fantastic, they’ve been top of the league for most of the season.
“I just think Arsenal have got a way of playing which doesn’t catch everyone’s eye. But I just think City, with the games they’ve got, it’s congested, Arsenal have been there all season, I think it’s their year,” Rooney has said.
