Hugo Broos, the coach of South Africa’s national football team, has expressed confidence regarding the team’s prospects in the upcoming World Cup, stating that only South Korea poses a significant challenge in their group.
Broos emphasized that the competitive levels between South Africa, Czechia, and Mexico are fairly comparable. He noted, however, that he remains particularly wary of South Korea, admitting that they are the only team to give him “sleepless nights.”
World Cup Group A includes South Africa, Mexico, and South Korea, with the opening match featuring Mexico against Bafana Bafana this Thursday.
