Jurgen Klopp has expressed a desire to lead a national team, particularly the German national side. The 58-year-old former Liverpool manager has recently turned down an opportunity to manage Real Madrid.
According to DiarioAS, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, had long harbored ambitions of appointing Klopp. However, the German tactician declined the offer as he is focused on the possibility of coaching the national team of Germany.
Klopp has made it clear that he has no intention of returning to club management unless the position is with the German national team, rendering any other coaching opportunities irrelevant for him at this time.
Currently, Klopp is serving in an executive role at RB Leipzig in Germany, although this position does not involve coaching responsibilities.
