Liverpool Football Club has appointed a new manager as they look to turn around their fortunes. The club has reached an agreement with Spanish coach Andoni Iraola, as reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page.

Negotiations have concluded successfully, and an official announcement is anticipated soon. Iraola’s contract with Bournemouth will not be extended, allowing Liverpool to secure his services without any compensation to the “Cherries.”

Iraola will take over from Arne Slot, who was recently dismissed after a disappointing season. The new manager, 43, has previously managed AEK Larnaca, Mirandés, and Rayo Vallecano, and faces a significant challenge in revitalizing the team.
