Manchester United is reportedly looking to enhance its coaching staff, expressing interest in Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks. The club’s potential future head coach, Michael Carrick, is keen on having Danks join him permanently if he secures the position.
According to TeamTalk, Carrick is actively organizing the structure of his coaching team and considers Danks a pivotal candidate. Danks, 42, is currently employed at Bayern Munich, where he works under head coach Vincent Kompany, with whom he previously collaborated at Anderlecht.
Should Carrick be named head coach on a permanent basis, Danks could join a backroom staff that already includes Steve Holland and Jonathan Woodgate. It is notable that Danks rejoined Carrick at Middlesbrough in December 2022, quickly rising to become one of his most trusted assistants.
