Everton have reached a full agreement with Middlesbrough for the transfer of midfielder Hayden Hackney, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The deal is now understood to be completed between all parties, with only the formal signing of documents expected to follow later this week.
Hackney has already accepted personal terms on the contract offered by Everton, with the move reportedly pushed strongly by manager David Moyes.
The transfer package is set to be worth an initial £16.5 million, with a further £8 million in performance-related add-ons included in the agreement.
