The Senegal national football team, known as the Lions of Teranga, is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming World Cup, set to occur this summer in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. As part of these efforts, team manager Pape Thiaw recently embarked on a tour across Europe.
During his tour, Thiaw engaged with several of Senegal’s international players, attending various league matches to scout talent and discuss strategies. Notable meetings included discussions with players such as Bara Ndiaye, Jackson, Lamine Sy, Moussa Diakhate, and Ismaïla Sarr.
At the conclusion of the tour, Pape Thiaw expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes, highlighting the importance of these encounters. He emphasized their role in aligning the team’s vision and preparing adequately for the future.
