Rasmus Højlund has officially joined Napoli on a permanent basis after successful negotiations. The announcement was made today via the club’s official page on the social media platform X.
Napoli activated the purchase option for the 23-year-old Danish striker following his loan from Manchester United. The transfer fee for Højlund is reported to be €44 million, and he has signed a contract with the club that extends until 2030.
Højlund initially joined Napoli in September of last year on a one-year loan deal. During his time with the team, he appeared in 44 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing 8 assists.
Current estimates from Transfermarkt put Højlund’s market value at €60 million, reflecting his growing prominence in European football.
