The “Rossoneri” have reached an agreement with Portuguese specialist Rúben Amorim.
Amorim has taken over as head coach of AC Milan. The club announced the appointment via their official account on the social media platform X.
Details: At 41 years old, Amorim has signed a contract that will keep him with Milan until 2028, with an option to extend for one more year. The Rossoneri management believes that Amorim is the coach capable of leading the team back to the top of Italian football and achieving consistent success internationally.
Amorim has built a strong reputation for his development of young talents and his modern tactical approach. Prior to joining Milan, his latest role was with Manchester United, where he departed in January 2023 following a series of unsatisfactory results.
His coaching career also includes stints at Sporting, Braga, and Casa Pia.
