The disciplinary committee has issued severe penalties following a recent incident during a Segunda match. Goalkeeper Esteban Andrada has received an unprecedented suspension of 13 matches due to aggressive conduct, specifically for striking his opponent, Alan Pulido, in the face.

This significant suspension sidelines Andrada for a large part of the season, leaving his team in a precarious position as they approach crucial fixtures. In a related incident during the same match, Zaragoza’s goalkeeper also struck Huesca player Dani Jiménez.

Jiménez, while involved in the altercation, has received a considerably lighter punishment, being suspended for four matches. These decisions by the disciplinary committee underscore the seriousness with which player conduct is addressed in the league.
