FC Porto faces a significant challenge ahead of their upcoming Portuguese Cup semi-final second leg against Sporting Lisbon, as Zaidu Sanusi has been ruled out due to an ankle injury.
The injury was sustained during Porto’s league match against Tondela last weekend. Following the incident, Sanusi has been in recovery and was absent from training on Tuesday, raising doubts about his participation in the crucial tie.
FC Porto’s head coach, Francesco Farioli, confirmed Sanusi’s absence from the upcoming match. In an update shared through the club’s official communications, Farioli addressed the situation regarding the left-back.

“Zaidu will remain out as he is still recovering,” the Porto boss stated.
