19-year-old midfielder Alamara Djabi, who plays for Danish club Midtjylland and is a product of Portuguese giants Benfica, has suffered severe injuries following a knife attack. The incident occurred last Sunday evening in Herning.
The injuries were critical, necessitating two emergency surgeries. After the procedures, Djabi was placed in an induced coma. Fortunately, he regained consciousness on Tuesday morning, and medical reports indicate that his condition has since stabilized. In a statement, Midtjylland confirmed that Djabi is feeling relatively well under the circumstances and remains under constant medical care.
In response to the attack, local authorities have initiated an active investigation. The police identified a suspect, 20-year-old Moussa Habib Jensen, who is currently wanted in connection with the attack. Danish police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating him.
