Oswin Appollis celebrated Orlando Pirates’ impressive 3-0 win over AmaZulu yesterday.
The Bafana Bafana player netted the second goal at the Orlando Amstel Arena, earning himself the Man of the Match award in a thrilling encounter.
Yanela Mbuthuma and Relebohile Mofokeng added the other two goals for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s team, propelling them to the top of the table with 58 points.
“Overall, the team fought well on Saturday. We’re really pleased with the three points and the three goals,” he told Orlando Pirates TV.
“We aimed for more goals, but it wasn’t in the cards this time.
“Nonetheless, we’re satisfied with the team’s performance and our results.
“We’ll keep pushing, and as the boys said in the dressing room, we’ll take it game by game, continuing our efforts next week.”
