Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid, expressed strong concerns regarding the current state of La Liga during an interview with the El Chiringuito program. He made a striking comparison, stating that winning Europe’s premier club competition is less challenging than securing success in the domestic league.
Pérez noted that the situation in La Liga has escalated to an illogical extent. “Winning the Champions League is easier than La Liga. It’s absurd!” he remarked, conveying his frustration with apparent ease of triumph in Europe compared to domestic challenges.
Furthermore, he criticized refereeing decisions and external factors that he believes have significantly impacted Real Madrid’s performance this season. According to Pérez, the team has been deprived of between 16 and 18 points due to these issues.
“Winning the Champions League is easier than La Liga. It’s absurd!” Pérez exclaimed with emotion.
In other news, the availability of Real Madrid’s goalkeeper for the upcoming La Liga match remains uncertain due to illness.
